When I wrote my monthly column, Twelve Month’s of Change, I decided to use it as a road map for a year of Fit Tips to help us all re-align 12 health areas in new and exciting ways. By the end of the year, we’d all have close to 52 concrete changes to show for it if all went well! The goal was to have fun, get the entire family a bit more healthy, and for each member of the family to discover some new ways to tackle some old issues.
The wonder of this plan is in it’s simplicity. It helps us focus and gives us all something new to do each and every week. While originally launched in 2009, this plan is truly timeless and I’d encourage you to try the 12 Months of Change as we head into 2010 and keep going into 2011 and beyond! I’m going to help you along by tweaking the tips so you don’t get bored
There’s power in numbers so talk about this as a family and post your ideas for each month on the frig. The more you get into this as a group, the more fun and successful you’ll be, as a family and as individuals. And, remember, you’re not looking to tackle any one area in a huge way – just tweak things each month that you can continue in to the next. Small changes, big results!
