This was my digital foot print according to EMC’s digital footprint tool at 10am ET today. As I type this post, 4 1/2 hours later, at 2:30pm ET, my digital footprint has increased to 342, 646,507,000…and counting! That’s consistent with the 25k increase per hour we say during the podcast earlier.

How many screens are you plugged into each day? I added up my screen use recently and was up to 4 by 10am: my iPhone, TV for the morning news, my laptop and a satellite computer monitor plugged into my laptop.

Living unplugged. Pre-broadband I used to do it all the time. In fact, it’s how we all lived. Post-broadband, it’s been exceptionally rare. Post-cell phone, iPhone especially, no way! For the better part of the past 2 weeks, though, that’s exactly what I’ve managed to do…and it’s been wonderful!

I have two toddler daughters , a two year old and a three year old. We recently started potty training both of them and to our amazement they just took to it for pee but poop has been a different story. We also have three older boys and didn’t have these issues – they were able to potty train for both poop and pee very easily at the same time.
