You wouldn’t believe how refreshing it has been to be offline for an entire week…actually a week and a tad more if the truth be known!

While we were gone….
Our computers were in hybernation mode.
Our cell phones were off and thumbs enjoyed their first consecutive no text days in months.
At our destination, all electronics, including phones, i-this, that and the others, went into the room safe not to be turned on again until we were home bound.
On vacation, we enjoyed a week of complete unplugged life as a family and at our destination. It helped that cell reception stunk but it was amazing to interact with people untethered by technology…so much so not a single one of us has plugged back in yet any where near our pre-vacation levels. Will it last? I’ll let you know…and fill you in soon in another post about what life was like unplugged in lands far away.
