Last weekend, we took our first road trip of the summer and had a wonderful few days. We enjoyed visiting relatives, exploring a new area, swimming, long walks, local cuisine, and ice cream that seemed to melt as soon as it was scooped. We even got to explore some museums and see some fireworks.

My oldest daughter has always remembered loving Halloween. As a toddler, she would dress up and stand at the door handing out candy.

It may feel like Summer but before you know it a chill will be in the air and we’ll be trekking our families all over the place for holiday travel.
